Medical/Surgical & Dental Mission 2008

Sunrise Christian College Foundation of the Philippines Inc. in Bonbon, Butuan City, will host the 2nd Medical/Surgical/Dental Mission on January 11-12, 2008 funded by CARIS Foundation and we need volunteers like Medical Doctors, Dentists and Nurses from local and abroad. We are aiming 1,000 patients or more per day and we cannot accommodate all these patients if we don’t have volunteers like you. more>>>

Sunrise Christian College Foundation of the Philippines Inc. once again administered a week long celebration of intramurals last September 24-28, 2007 at Sunrise Christian College Campus located at P-2b Bonbon Butuan City. This week long celebration was kicked off by a motorcade on the opening day September 24 and was followed by the cheer-dance competition. Various teams competed in this category and it was the 2nd year high school students and the COED department who won the first prize. In the afternoon, different outdoor games were conducted. more>>>
SCC eyes implementation of its MDP

Last Saturday, August 18,2007 , Sunrise Christian College President Dr. Samuel Cariaga has called out a meeting for the implementation of the Master Development Plan (MDP) of Sunrise Christian College. It was noted that the Master Development Plan was developed last June 2, 2007 by the President together with the faculty and with the help of Mrs. Esther Guno, Chief Planning officer of the City Government of Butuan City, for the School to have a blue print for its development. And now, after two months of preparation for documentations and revisions, at last the implementation stage has come. more>>>

Last July 31, 2007 through the efforts of SCC BOT member Elmer Palacio (Babag Church of Christ Minister & School Administrator of “We Care Christian Center” Lapu-Lapu City), Sunrise Orphanage is now SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) registered as Sunrise Christian Orphan Homes of the Philippines Inc.
Blood letting in the Campus

The Rotary Club of Metro Butuan in cooperation with Sunrise Christian College National Service Training Program (NSTP) batch 2007-2008 students and the Philippine National Red Cross has conducted an Operation Blood letting Program last August 4, 2007 at Sunrise Christian College Multi-purpose building . The theme of the program is to “Share A Blood, Save A Nation”. more>>>
